PANASONIC DEBUTS NEW AG-DVC30 MULTI-STYLE PROFESSIONAL MINI-DV CAMERA- RECORDER
Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (Osaka, Japan), best known for its Panasonic brand products, introduced today the AG-DVC30, a new multi-style mini-DV camera-recorder that is debuting at the International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition (InterBEE), held November 19 - 21 in Japan.
This compact, multi-function camera-recorder has the high picture quality and high sensitivity demanded by professionals, and offers a range of options that can be added to permit different shooting styles. The AG-DVC30 employs three 1/4-inch, 410,000-pixel CCDs (NTSC)(PAL version has 470,000-pixel CCDS) to provide exceptional picture quality of 480/60i, 4:3 aspect in NTSC (576/50i, 4:3 aspect in PAL), outstanding sensitivity, and mobility needed for demanding professional use. It has a 16x Leica Dicomar™ lens with Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS), removable handle (standard), IR filming function and an XLR audio input as option.
The AG-DVC30 will be available in Spring 2004.
