Netherlands, 10th September 2004. Haagtechno bv will today celebrate its 40th anniversary following its founding in 1964 in Amsterdam, by the holding company Hagemeyer N.V.
During this celebration VIP guests will include; Mr.Y.Shohtoku, Executive Vice President Matsushita Electric, Mr.T.Rombouts, Mayor of the City ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Mr.O.Hoes, Vice-Governor Province Noord Brabant, Mr.R.de Becker, Chairman of the Board Hagemeyer N.V, Mr. Y.Miyata, Managing director Panasonic Marketing Europe, Mr. H.Koike, Ambassador of Japan in the Netherlands, Directors of the distributors in Greece, Portugal, Switzerland, Turkey, and key dealers and suppliers.

The celebration will begin with a reception in Haagtechno’s Dealer Centre where Haagtechno bv will donate 4 cheques each for 4000 euros to community foundations. The four foundations are: The Liliane Fonds, a foundation, which helps disabled children in the 3rd world; The Vicky Brown House, a foundation that provides social support to Cancer sufferers and their families; The Stichting Hulphond Nederland, a foundation which trains and educates dogs to aid disabled people; and the Bosch Gemeenschapsfonds, a local foundation which helps the most needy individuals and organisations in the city.

Following the presentation, the 70 guests will attend an official reception by the Mayor of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, followed by a celebration dinner at the Noord Brabants Museum, the former historical Government House.
