e-Sports (AW-UB10 + PTZ camera)

The number of people competing in esports continues to increase year after year.
In the tournament, teams consisting of several players each compete in heated competitions.

Many cameras are used to broadcast these events to the outside world through TV broadcasts and online streaming.
However, a remote camera alone is not sufficient to achieve a sense of presence with a small staff and limited space.

Production and effects

Due to the nature of e-sports competitions, there is not a lot of human movement and little change in the screen relative to the flow of the game.
So, a box-style camera can capture the players' facial expressions and convey the tension during the game and the atmosphere of the venue to create a realistic video.

Equipment configuration and installation location

  • Box-style camera: 6 cameras (AW-UB10)

Fixed cameras capture players’ expressions up close (focused stares, fist pumps, and team interactions), adding realism to the footage.
Two units at the commentary desk capture commentators’ reactions, enhancing the overall experience.

  • PTZ camera: 2 cameras

Set up to capture guests and spectators, just like in a typical live broadcast program.
Aims to capture their reactions to the gameplay and the overall excitement of the crowd and venue.
