April 8th, 2019
Osaka, Japan – Panasonic has announced the AW-HE42W/K full HD Integrated camera with a wide range of interfaces including 3G-SDI/HDMI/IP/Gen lock. This new, integrated Camera offers significant improvements in lensing, stabilization and interfacing than prior Panasonic models in this class. The AW-HE42W/K, in both black and white versions, is slated to be available in June 2019.
The AW-HE42W/K features a 1080/60p, 50p*1 FHD output, a wide horizontal viewing angle of 65.1 degrees, a 20x optical zoom and virtually lossless 30x i.Zoom. Equipped with a 1/2.3-type FHD MOS sensor, the AW-HE42W/K provides an increased number of interfaces, including 3G-SDI, HDMI, IP (facilitating streaming and NDI|HX*2 support), and Gen lock for camera matching in live production.
An Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) increases installation flexibility to work against vibrations caused by opening and closing doors, audio systems and other installed equipment.
The AW-HE42W/K is designed to produce high-quality video and precise control and movement for demanding remote production and IMAG applications. It is ideal for broadcast, conference rooms, live events, staging, distance learning and houses of worship.
This product will be exhibited at the “NAB Show” that will be held in Las Vegas, USA, from April 8 to April 11, 2019.
*1: Actual recording is FHD (1920×1080) 59.94p/50p.
