Acquiring position information using the GPS in the camera
The GPS is built-in the camera. You can record the position information using GPS to clips as clip metadata.
Information from GPS (latitude, longitude, altitude, date and time) can be viewed on the screen. For details, refer to “Mode check display”.
Set the main menu → [OTHER FUNCTIONS] → [GPS] to [INTERNAL].
[GPS] illuminates on the LCD monitor and viewfinder screen, and GPS signal reception is indicated by bars in four levels.
If [HOLD] is set in the main menu → [OTHER FUNCTIONS] → [P.OFF GPS DATA], the GPS position information can be retained.
