Recording Quality

Pre-Recording
Video and audio for a duration of approximately 4 seconds (MOV/MP4)/3 seconds (AVCHD) immediately before the Rec button is pressed are always stored in memory, so missed scenes can be recovered from the stored data.
Still Picture Recording
When the camera is in Record mode, still pictures can be captured by pressing the USER button assigned with the Capture function.
Still pictures can also be obtained during video shooting (simultaneous recording).
Rec Check
A segment of about two seconds at the end of the last recorded video clip can be played back by a one-touch operation for confirmation.
Last Scene Delete
The last recorded video clip can be deleted by a one-touch operation.

1. 3.0-inch (type) Slide-Retractable LCD with Touch Operation
This handy LCD serves as a high-definition, 460K-dot monitor and menu-setting touch panel. When not in use, it slides into the front handle for extra mobility and safety. It also rotates 270 degrees vertically for easy high-angle, low-angle and self-interview shooting.
2. Sturdy Handle
A lightweight, durable magnesium-alloy frame is used for the handle. The extra strength also expands shooting possibilities.
3. Tiltable Viewfinder with Eyecup
The 1,555K-dot-equivalent color viewfinder can be tilted for added convenience.
4. 3 Manual Rings
Professional features include a focus ring, zoom ring, and iris ring on the lens barrel. This enables speedy and intuitive camera work.
5. Illuminating LED Ring
The illuminating LED ring allows easy verification that recording is in progress, for smoother shooting. The user can turn the illumination on or off.
6. 2-Channel XLR Audio Input Terminals
he AG-AC30 comes with 2-channel XLR audio input terminals for external mic or line recording. It also has a +48V phantom power supply. This enables the use of professional-spec, high-performance microphones for high-quality audio recording.
Dual SD Card Slot
Relay Recording
When the first card becomes full, the system automatically and seamlessly switches to the second card. The user can exchange the card while shooting. This means that recorded cards can be exchanged one after another with blank cards for endless recording.*

Simultaneous Recording
The same data is recorded onto both cards, so you don't have to worry about losing the data.
Histogram
A graph with the brightness on the horizontal axis and the number of pixels corresponding to the brightness on the vertical axis is displayed to enable more precise exposure compensation.

Minimizes blackout and whiteout, and expands the dynamic range.
Various WB mode
This selector is used to change the binary (A/V) memory or preset value (3200K/5600K/VAR (variable in a range of 2000 K to 1500 K)). An ATW (auto tracking white balance) function is also provided.
Level Gauge
The degrees of camera tilt in the horizontal and vertical directions can be checked on the LCD viewfinder.
