1. High-quality Video Expression
High-sensitivity Large-format Sensor
The AW-UB50 is equipped with a 24.2-megapixel effective full-size MOS sensor, while the AW-UB10 features a 10.3-megapixel effective 4/3-inch MOS sensor. Both achieve high sensitivity by optimizing dynamic range and signal-to-noise ratio for exceptional resolution, tonal gradation, color reproduction, and low noise.

Dual Native ISO
Both models come with Dual Native ISO for high-sensitivity video even in low-light environments, allowing shooting with compact lighting equipment or natural light without significantly compromising video quality. This also reduces the need for extensive post-production work, such as noise reduction. In ISO Auto mode, ISO sensitivity is displayed in real time to visualize noise levels while shooting.
Log Shooting
Both models offer V-Log shooting for wide dynamic range, enabling rich tones and flexible grading with excellent highlight tolerance for fine, rich tonal gradations of dark and highlight areas (AW-UB50: 14+ stops / AW-UB10: 13 stops). In addition, when editing video from the AW-UE160W/K 4K integrated camera, V-Log helps to ensure a consistent look for highly efficient editing.
What is Log?
It has a wide color gamut and wide dynamic range, and records all brightness as evenly as possible, resulting in a low-contrast image in appearance.
The color grading tool allows a high degree of freedom in image creation using 3D LUTs and CDLs.
V-Log is a log curve developed for the VariCam cinema cameras based on our image creation philosophy and is used in many of our cameras.
For more information on V-Log, please see this reference manual.
Efficient Video Creation
Color profiles compatible with the AW-UE160W/K 4K integrated camera enable color matching when using multiple PTZ cameras.
2. Auto-functions and Multi-interfaces
Face/Iris and Human Body Recognition
The combination of Face/Iris Recognition AF and Human Body Recognition ensures highly accurate autofocus tracking of human subjects. Precise focus on faces and eyes is achieved even with children at a distance or when the subject’s face is tilted.
Multiple I/O Terminals
The AW-UB50/10 flexibly adapts to diverse scenarios thanks to standard connections for professional equipment, including 3G-SDI OUT, TC IN/OUT, GENLOCK IN, HDMI Type A, LAN, USB Type-C, φ3.5 MIC, and headphones. LAN is PoE+ compliant for power supply, allowing video transmission, control, and power supply over a single LAN cable, significantly reducing wiring complexity in the field.
Two SD Card Slots
The two built-in SD card slots support data management with the best recording method, either sequential (relay) recording or backup recording, depending on the shooting environment and conditions.
3. Excellent Expandability
Functional Box-style Design
The minimalist body, designed specifically for video production, features a wide variety of I/O interfaces, making the camera versatile for diverse applications including multi-camera setups, streaming, and traditional production styles using tripods and gimbals.
Two Models Available
The AW-UB50 and AW-UB10 come with different sensor sizes so users can choose which one best suits their artistic expression as well as the location scale.
Multiple IP Transmission Standards
Both models are compatible with the NDI® HX2* IP standard for sharing high-definition video data with networked equipment, making it easy to build IP-based systems incorporating other NDI-compatible devices.
- * NDI® is a video connectivity technology and is registered as a trademark by Vizrt NDI AB in the United States and other countries. Planned for future support.
Multi-camera Operation
Supports a common IP control protocol for seamless integration with Panasonic PTZ cameras, allowing operation from the remote operation panel (ROP).* Future enhancements will include compatibility with PTZ camera controllers and live switchers.
- * Support for AK-HRP1010GJ and AK-HRP1015GJ ROP planned
- * Support for AW-RP150GJ remote camera controller planned

Software Platform Support
The Media Production Suite* software platform can be used to create multi-camera systems that include PTZ cameras. It can automatically detect and list of all Panasonic PTZ cameras connected to the same network as the PC. It can also be used to check camera information (IP address, version number, etc.) and to configure camera network settings, enhancing the efficiency of multi-PTZ camera operations.
- * Compatible with EasyIP mode in the suite’s Device View feature. Future firmware updates will extend this feature to other devices.
