Due to the nature of esports, where multiple players participate simultaneously, we needed a system that could handle at least 10 layers without issue, even when managing a large volume of video assets.
With KAIROS, there's no need to stack multiple M/Es to achieve complex layering. As long as it stays within the GPU's processing capacity, layers can be added freely and effortlessly, with no predefined limits.
It allows us to create high-quality visual effects with minimal effort, making it the ultimate switcher for delivering the ideal production— one that is truly in a league of its own.

KAIROS is a switcher that stands out from all others available on the market. It is very intuitive and it enables us to create many things. It’s a very powerful tool when it comes to the layers and scenes, for example for this esports production, we need to make many compositions, ｌots of PinPs and KAIROS in this sense has been an ideal switcher to be able to configure an infinite number of scenes. Right now we are working with 10 to 12 Scenes and each of them has more than 10 layers with effects, animated with macros. One of the outstanding features from traditional esports switchers is that we can mix the compositions that are made with the scenes, they can be mixed between each other, attached at the crosspoints and it is done in a very fast and intuitive way. Live video compositing in this production allows us to be fast and to be able to solve any unforeseen event in a matter of the moment.

The macro functionality is especially helpful, enabling effects
sequencing with a single button. And by creating custom source code, we can achieve even more complex effects. The snapshot feature is also invaluable, allowing us to easily save and switch between scene layouts or layer settings. Having worked with a variety of hardware and software switchers, I find KAIROS to be incredibly flexible, as well as unrestricted by conventional systems' limitations with things like patterns.

The GUI software is easy to work in Windows environment. Macro system is also very intuitive and we can edit easily, both the inputs and outputs. It is a very versatile and powerful switcher. It is easy to different scenes, macros and all the media including RAM and the clips players. It's very simple.

KAIROS continues to evolve with frequent firmware updates, constantly expanding its capabilities. It supports REST API, allowing operation from external devices such as the web controller, which opens up possibilities for further workflow enhancements. In the latest update, a new film-look effect feature was introduced. By fully utilizing these new functions, I aim to broaden the scope of our creative expression with fresh ideas born from a unique visual perspective.

It's kind of just the combiner for all things, and it makes it super easy to transfer scenes and just move around the system. You can bring anything in, send anything out, and manipulate it. It'll handle any aspect ratio and send it out at any resolution that you want. It's like a Swiss Army knife for television production.

We have top-of-the-line production, and everyone sees it. Other people are coming here to copy what we’re doing and trying to copy our processes and asking us how we like the KAIROS system, and we only say nice things. After introducing KAIROS, we provided training for the operators. However, as KAIROS is so intuitive, they were able to master it in less than half a day. Now, we’re even hearing comments like, "We couldn’t do without KAIROS." In esports, the finals bring players together in a battle arena, and since the operators are so fond of KAIROS, we’re considering whether we can take it to the venue. Moving forward, we aim to make full use of KAIROS’s strengths in delivering high- quality productions, leveraging its macro functions and regular updates to push the boundaries of event production in ways that were previously impossible.
