Selecting video output

The video output method can be selected.

Video output, etc. can be selected by the setting of [SDI&HDMI SELECT], [3G-SDI OUT], or [DOWNCON MODE] in the main menu → [OUTPUT SEL].

Description of settings

[SDI&HDMI SELECT]

Selects output signals from the <SDI OUT> terminal and <HDMI OUT> terminal.

[3G-SDI OUT]

Selects the 3G-HD SDI signal type output from the <SDI OUT> terminal from [LEVEL-A] and [LEVEL-B] at 1080P.

[DOWNCON MODE]

Selects the mode of the down convertor output signal from the <SDI OUT> terminal when it is in the HD mode (1080P, 1080i, 1080/23.98PsF, or 720P).

Output type can be selected from [LEVEL-A] and [LEVEL-B] in the main menu → [OUTPUT SEL] → [3G-SDI OUT]. [LEVEL-B] is set in the factory settings.

When [LINE&FREQ] is set to [1080-23.98PsF] and [SDI&HDMI SELECT] is set to [SYSTEM MODE], video output from the <SDI OUT> terminal in thumbnail mode or playback mode (including recording check) becomes 1080/60P. In addition, it is not output from the <HDMI OUT> terminal. The video output signal from the <SDI OUT> terminal may be disrupted or the video in the LCD monitor and the viewfinder may be disrupted when transferring between the camera mode and the thumbnail mode (or the playback mode).
