Mode check display

The camera settings and status can be displayed on the viewfinder or LCD monitor screen for check.

Press the <DISP/MODE CHK> button for one second or more while displaying the camera image screen to display the STATUS screen of the mode check.

The display toggles in the order of the STATUS screen, FUNCTION screen, AUDIO screen, SWITCH screen, NETWORK screen and the camera image screen each time the <DISP/MODE CHK> button is pressed.

Each screen of the mode check is displayed for approximately five seconds.

The screen does not switch while the <DISP/MODE CHK> button is pressed.

Press the <EXIT> button while each screen is displayed to return to the camera image screen.

FUNCTION screen

Displays the video output settings and information of the recording media.

[VIDEO OUT]

[VIDEO OUT SEL]

Displays the output destination of the video and audio with [SDI + HDMI]/[AV + HDMI].

[SDI OUT FORMAT]/[AV OUT FORMAT]

Displays as follows depending on the setting for the output destination of video and audio.

  • When set to [SDI + HDMI]:

    The signal output from the <SDI OUT> terminal is displayed with [1920×1080p][1920×1080i]/[1920×1080PsF]/[1280×720p]/[720×480i]/[720×576i].

  • When set to [AV + HDMI]:

    The signal output from the <AV OUT> terminal is displayed with [720×480i]/[720×576i].

[SDI OUT CHAR]/[AV OUT CHAR]

Displays as follows depending on the setting for the output destination of video and audio.

  • When set to [SDI + HDMI]:

    Displays whether to superimpose the character to the output from the <SDI OUT> terminal with [ON]/[OFF].

  • When set to [AV + HDMI]:

    Displays whether to superimpose the character to the output from the <AV OUT> terminal with [ON]/[OFF].

[HDMI OUT FORMAT]

The signal output from the <HDMI> terminal is displayed with [3840×2160p]/[3840×2160p(420/8bit)]/[1920×1080p]/[1920×1080i]/[1280×720p]/[720×480p]/[720×576p].

[HDMI OUT CHAR]

Displays whether to superimpose the character to the output from the <HDMI> terminal with [ON]/[OFF].

[HDR/SDR]

(When the [SYSTEM] menu → [COLOR SETTING] is set to [NORMAL])

[SDI OUT]/[AV OUT]

Displays as follows depending on the setting for the output destination of video and audio.

  • When set to [SDI + HDMI]:

    The output image from the <SDI OUT> terminal is displayed with [HDR]/[SDR].

  • When set to [AV + HDMI]:

    The output image from the <AV OUT> terminal is displayed with [SDR].

[HDMI OUT]

The output image from the <HDMI> terminal is displayed with [HDR]/[SDR].

[LCD/VF]

Displays the output image from the LCD monitor and the viewfinder with [HDR]/[SDR].

[V-Log/709]

(When the [SYSTEM] menu → [COLOR SETTING] is set to [V-Log])

[SDI OUT]/[AV OUT]

Displays as follows depending on the setting for the output destination of video and audio.

  • When set to [SDI + HDMI]:

    The output image from the <SDI OUT> terminal is displayed with [V-Log]/[V-709].

  • When set to [AV + HDMI]:

    The output image from the <AV OUT> terminal is displayed with [V-709].

[HDMI OUT]

The output image from the <HDMI> terminal is displayed with [V-Log]/[V-709].

[LCD/VF]

Displays the output image from the LCD monitor and the viewfinder with [V-Log]/[V-709].

[CARD STATUS]

—

Displays the status, remaining recording capacity, and the total capacity of the memory card inserted in the card slot.

It is not displayed when set to the [NETWORK] menu → [NETWORK FUNC] → [NDI|HX].

The status of the memory card that is displayed are following types.

  • [NO CARD]: Memory card is not inserted.

  • [UNSUPPORTED]: Memory card is not supported.

  • [FORMAT ERROR]: Memory card cannot be used. (Format error)

  • [PROTECTED]: It is write protected. (The write-protection switch of the memory card is set to the LOCK side)

  • [NO REMAIN]: There is no remaining recording capacity.

  • [NOT SDXC]: SDXC memory card is not inserted in the MOV recording.

  • Cases other than above: The remaining recording capacity is displayed in 0% through 100%.

[TOTAL]

Displays the remaining recording capacity/total capacity of the memory cards in the card slot 1 and the card slot 2.

[SLOT1]

Displays the status and remaining recording capacity/total capacity of the memory card in card slot 1.

[SLOT2]

Displays the status and remaining recording capacity/total capacity of the memory card in card slot 2.

AUDIO screen

Displays the audio input/output settings and the audio level meter.

When P2 or MOV is set as the recording format, the audio channel displayed in the audio level meter follows the setting in the [AUDIO] menu → [OUTPUT SETTINGS] → [AUDIO OUT].

  • Displays the audio channel 1 and audio channel 2 when set to [CH1]/[CH2]/[CH1/2 STEREO]/[CH1/2 MIX].

  • Displays the audio channel 3 and audio channel 4 when set to [CH3]/[CH4]/[CH3/4 STEREO]/[CH3/4 MIX].

  • Switches the audio channel to display in the audio level meter (audio channel 1/2 and audio channel 3/4) while the USER button to which [AUDIO MON SEL] is assigned is pressed or the USER button icon is touched.

Displays the audio channel and the format output from the <AV OUT> terminal, headphone terminal, and the built-in speaker with [CH1]/[CH2]/[CH1/2 STEREO]/[CH1/2 MIX]/[CH3]/[CH4]/[CH3/4 STEREO]/[CH3/4 MIX].

[SELECT]

[CH1] - [CH4]

The audio to be recorded in each channel is displayed with [INT(L)]/[INT(R)]/[INPUT1]/[INPUT2].

[LINE/MIC]

[CH1] - [CH4]

The audio input signal of each channel is displayed with [LINE]/[MIC]/[MIC+48V].

Displays [---] when [INT(L)] or [INT(R)] is selected as the audio to be recorded.

[LEVEL]

[CH1] - [CH4]

Displays the adjustment method of the recording level of the audio for each channel with [AUTO]/[MANU].

[LIMITER]

[CH1] - [CH4]

Displays enable/disable of limiter for each channel with [ON]/[OFF].

Displays [---] when the adjustment method of the recording level of the audio is set to [AUTO].

[LOWCUT]

[CH1] - [CH4]

Displays enable/disable of low-cut filter for each channel with [ON]/[OFF].

SWITCH screen

Displays the function assigned to the USER switch, <GAIN> switch, and <WHITE BAL> switch as well as the setting value.

[GAIN L]

Displays the gain value assigned to the <L> position of the <GAIN> switch.

[GAIN M]

Displays the gain value assigned to the <M> position of the <GAIN> switch.

[GAIN H]

Displays the gain value assigned to the <H> position of the <GAIN> switch.

[S.GAIN]

Displays the list of gain values assigned as a super gain.

It is not displayed when the [CAMERA] menu → [SW MODE] → [GAIN/ISO MODE] is set to [ISO].

[WHITE BAL A]

Displays the color temperature assigned to the <A> position of the <WHITE BAL> switch.

Displays [ATW] when the auto tracking white balance function is assigned.

[WHITE BAL B]

Displays the color temperature assigned to the <B> position of the <WHITE BAL> switch.

Displays [ATW] when the auto tracking white balance function is assigned.

[WHITE BAL PRST]

Displays the color temperature assigned to the <PRST> position of the <WHITE BAL> switch.

Displays [ATW] when the auto tracking white balance function is assigned.

Color temperature and [VAR] are displayed when [VAR] is assigned.

NETWORK screen

Displays the settings of the network function.

[NETWORK]

[DEVICE SEL]

Displays the device that connects an external equipment (computer, etc.) and the camera with [LAN]/[WLAN]/[USB TETHERING]/[OFF].

[NETWORK FUNC]

Displays the network function of the camera with [STREAMING]/[NDI|HX]/[OFF].

[STRM FORMAT]

Displays the streaming format.

It is not displayed when set to the [NETWORK] menu → [NETWORK FUNC] → [OFF].

[STRM DATA TYPE]

Displays the type of the streaming connection information.

It is not displayed when set to anything other than the [NETWORK] menu → [NETWORK FUNC] → [STREAMING].

[IP REMOTE]

Displays enable/disable status of the IP remote function.

[IPv4 ADDRESS]

Displays the IP address of IPv4.

It is not displayed when set to the [NETWORK] menu → [DEVICE SEL] → [OFF].

[IPv6 ADDRESS]

Displays the IP address of IPv6.

[DISABLE] is displayed when the [NETWORK] menu → [LAN PROPERTY] → [IPv6 SETTING] → [ENABLE/DISABLE] → [DISABLE] is set.

It is not displayed when set to anything other than the [NETWORK] menu → [DEVICE SEL] → [LAN].
