Sets the system in general.

  • imageicon_ENHANCED is the extended menu. Set [MENU] → [CAMERA SETTINGS] → [Enhanced] → [Enhanced SW] to [ON] to display the extended menu.

[FREQUENCY]

Sets the system frequency.

If the setting of this item is changed, the device must be restarted. If a restart is required, a confirmation dialog will be shown.

The camera’s system operation are determined by four settings: [FREQUENCY], [MAIN PIXEL], [MAIN CODEC], and [HIGH SPEED]. Check the four settings.

[V-RAW]

Sets the V-RAW format.

Displayed only when the V-RAW recorder is connected.

[MAIN PIXEL]

Sets the main recorder’s number of recording pixels.

[4096×2160], [3840×2160], [2048×1080], [1920×1080]

[MAIN CODEC]

Sets the main recorder’s recording codec. Selectable items vary depending on the [FREQUENCY]/[MAIN PIXEL] setting.

[OFF] is displayed only when the V-RAW recorder is connected.

[SUB CODEC]

Sets the sub recorder’s recording codec. Selectable items vary depending on the [FREQUENCY]/[MAIN PIXEL] setting.

At the same time, this enables/disables proxy data recording.

Sets the operation of the sub recorder during the variable frame rate operation.

[VFR up to 60p (50p)], [NORMAL+Audio]

[HIGH SPEED]

Sets the high speed mode.

[ON (1-**fps)], [OFF (1-**fps)]

The variable frame rate recording is not possible when the variable range of the variable frame rate is exceeding 60 fps, and it is displayed with [(NO SUB VFR)].

** represents the variable range of VFR. This will change depending on the [MAIN CODEC] setting.

[COLOR SETTING]

[MAIN]

Sets the colors of videos (entire camera system) recorded in the main recorder.

[V-Log]/[V-709]/[3D LUT]

It is fixed to [V-Log] when connected to the V-RAW recorder.

[GRADING]

Sets whether to apply the grading process.

This only enabled when [V-Log] is set in [MAIN].

[Internal]: Sets grading with the control panel.

[OFF]: Disables the grading process.

[External App]: Sets the grading using an external application.

[SUB]

Sets the colors of videos (entire camera system) recorded in the sub recorder.

[OFF]: Performs grading process to the playback video based on the setting in [SYSTEM SETTINGS] → [COLOR SETTING] → [MON 1]/[MON 2]/[VF]/[VF SDI]. The grading process is applied only to video recording V-Log.

The grading process is not performed to the video from the SDI output terminal.

Sets the de-squeeze ratio.

[1.3x]: De-squeeze 1.3 times in horizontal direction.

[2.0x]: De-squeeze 2.0 times in horizontal direction.

[2.0xmag]: It will be in aspect ratio of 2.39:1 for mastering generated from the image de-squeezed 2.0 times in horizontal direction.

Sets the CPS encryption password for the expressP2 memory card and the microP2 memory card.

Displayed only when the CPS formatted P2 card is inserted.

[LOAD]: Loads CPS password from an SD memory card.

[SET]: Enters the CPS password.

[DELETE]: Deletes the password saved to the device, and disables encrypted formats.

[FORMAT MEDIA]

Formats the card in the specified slot after the format menu is selected.

[V-RAW], [MAIN SLOT1], [MAIN SLOT2], [SUB SLOT1], [SUB SLOT2], [SD CARD]

[NORMAL] (normal format) or [CPS(ENCRYPT)] (encrypted format) can be selected when the CPS password is set and a CPS formatted P2 card is inserted.

Data deleted as a result of formatting cannot be restored. Always check the data before formatting.

[V-RAW] is displayed only when the V-RAW recorder is connected.

[MEDIA END ALARM]

Sets whether to generate an alarm sound when there is no remaining free space in the expressP2 memory card or the microP2 memory card.

Select the rotation speed of the fan.

[REC AUTO]: The rotation speed is lowered simultaneously with start of recording. However, the fan will rotate in maximum speed when it reaches the specified temperature.

[MATCH CODEC]: The fan will operate in rotation speed appropriate for each in accordance with [MAIN CODEC].

[ALWAYS FULL]: The fan will always rotate at the maximum speed.

Switches the synchronization signal of the camera signal.

[SLAVE]: Shoots with the sensor synchronized to the synchronization signal from the master. It is necessary to set [GENLOCK MODE] to [EXT] to perform slave operation. The synchronization signal is output from <SDI OUT1>.

[OFF]: Output or receiving of the synchronization signal is not performed.
