Acquiring position information from external device

This camera can acquire the position information (latitude, longitude, and altitude) from the bonding device connected via network.

Set the main menu → [OTHER FUNCTIONS] → [GPS] to [EXTERNAL].

The acquired position information is recorded in the clip as clip metadata.

The position information can be confirmed in the main menu → [NETWORK SETUP] → [NETWORK TOOLS] → [STATUS DISPLAY].
