[RECORDING SETUP]
These are various types of setting items when performing camera recording and playback.
Select the recording format.
Item | Description of settings | |
---|---|---|
[REC MEDIA] | Selects the slot for the media to be recorded. [microP2]: Uses microP2 memory cards (slots 1 and 2). [P2]: Uses P2 memory card (card slot 3).
| |
[FILE SPLIT] | Selects the split method of the recording file. [ONE FILE]: The clip is recorded in one file in the AVC-LongG format to a microP2 memory card (exceeding 32 GB). [SPLIT]: Divides the file every 4 GB regardless of the recording format. [SHORT SPLIT]: Divides the file every 128 seconds regardless of the recording format.
If the clip is recorded in one file, it cannot be copied to a P2 memory card or microP2 memory card with a capacity of 32 GB, or cannot be copied or exported to a storage. If one file exceeds approximately 4 GB, a clip cannot be transferred to a sever device on the network using the FTP client function. When [ONE FILE] is selected, proxy recording is not possible. Also, when the main menu → [RECORDING SETUP] → [DUAL CODEC SETTING] → [CODEC USAGE] is set to [PROXY REC(P2)] or [PROXY REC(P2&SD)], [ONE FILE] cannot be selected. It will be divided to recording files of approximately 128 seconds when [SHORT] is selected, but they can be operated as a single clip when the thumbnail of the clips are operated on the P2 device. A single continuous recording time is approximately 3.5 hours. [SHORT SPLIT] is disabled in interval recording, one-shot recording, and loop recording modes. | |
[RECORDING] | Selects the recording format. [NORMAL]: Performs standard recording. [INTERVAL]: Performs interval recording. [ONE SHOT]: Performs one-shot recording. [LOOP]: Performs loop recording.
| |
[RECORDING SETTING] | [RECORDING HOLD] | Selects whether to hold [RECORDING] settings. [ON]: Holds the settings. [OFF]: Does not hold the settings. It will always be [NORMAL] the next time when the power is turned on.
|
[ONE SHOT TIME] | Sets the recording duration of one-shot recording. [1frm], [2frm], [4frm], [8frm], [16frm], [1s]
| |
[INTERVAL TIME] | Sets the interval duration for interval recording. [2frm], [4frm], [8frm], [16frm], [1s], [2s], [5s], [10s], [30s], [1min], [5min], [10min]
| |
[START DELAY] | Selects whether to delay the recording start time by approximately one second when performing interval recording or one-short recording. [ON], [OFF]
| |
[PRE REC] | Selects whether to perform pre-recording. If [ON] is selected, pre-recording is performed for approximately three seconds in HD, and for approximately seven seconds in SD. [ON], [OFF]
| |
[ONE CLIP REC] | Selects whether to perform one-clip recording. [ON], [OFF]
| |
[SIMUL REC] | Selects whether to perform simultaneous recording. [ON], [OFF]
| |
[DUAL CODEC SETTING] | [CODEC USAGE] | Selects media for recording proxy data. [PROXY REC(P2)]: Records proxy data to a P2 card. [PROXY REC(P2&SD)]: Records proxy data to both of a P2 card and SD memory card. [STREAMING]: Outputs video stream. [OFF]: Does not record proxy data or output streaming.
If [CODEC USAGE] cannot be changed, change the [PROXY REC MODE] or [STREAMING MODE] setting. |
[PROXY REC MODE] | Sets the recording mode of proxy data. [LOW 2CH MOV], [HQ 2CH MOV], [SHQ 2CH MOV], [AVC-G6 2CH MOV]
| |
[STREAMING MODE] | Sets the transfer mode for streaming. [LOW], [HQ], [AVC-G6], [SHQ (QoS)], [AVC-G (QoS)]
| |
[PROXY DISP] | Selects whether to display proxy data recorded information or messages in the viewfinder. [ON]: Displays proxy recording information and SD memory card remaining capacity at the start of recording. Warning information is displayed at all times. [OFF]: Displays proxy and SD memory card warning information for only three seconds when warning occurs.
| |
[QoS MAX RATE] | Sets the maximum bitrate for video data when the QoS is operating. This setting is used when the streaming distribution is started from the operation of the camera. This can be set when [CAMERA] is selected in the main menu → [NETWORK SETUP] → [STREAMING SETTING] → [START TRIGGER]. [256Kbps], [512Kbps], [1Mbps], [1.5Mbps], [2.5Mbps], [3.5Mbps], [6Mbps], [9Mbps]
[9Mbps] cannot be selected when [STREAMING MODE] is set to [SHQ (QoS)]. | |
[QoS MIN RATE] | Sets the minimum bitrate for video data when the QoS is operating.
| |
[STREAMING LATENCY] | Sets the delay mode during the streaming distribution. This setting is used when the streaming distribution is started from the operation of the camera. This can be set when [CAMERA] is selected in the main menu → [NETWORK SETUP] → [STREAMING SETTING] → [START TRIGGER]. [NORMAL]: Set this to prioritize the stability of streaming. [SHORT]: Set this to prioritize the reduction of streaming delay.
| |
[START TEXT MEMO] | Selects whether to automatically add a text memo at recording start position each time recording is started. [ON], [OFF]
| |
[DF MODE] | Sets the counting method of the built-in time code generator. [DF]: Uses the drop frame mode. [NDF]: Uses the non-drop frame mode.
