Relay recording

Two SD cards can be inserted into the two card slots, and recording can continue on the second SD card when the remaining recordable capacity of the other SD card is exhausted.

Select the [REC SETTINGS] menu → [2 SLOTS FUNC.] → [RELAY REC].

[RELAY] is displayed in the 2 slot function display of the VIEW screen and the special recording function display of the HOME screen.

A slanted line is displayed on the [RELAY] display when the relay recording is not possible, such as the SD card is not inserted in either of the two card slots.

Press the REC button.

  • When remaining recordable capacity of one of the SD card is exhausted and the relay recording is started, the recording target will switch to the other SD card. The number of the card slot that became the recording target is displayed black and white inverted. It can record to three or more SD cards. Replace the SD card with no more remaining recordable capacity after the recording target has switched.

  • To change the recording target card slot before starting the recording, press the <SLOT SEL> button. This will not operate during recording.
