Image quality adjustment

When [MENU] → [SYSTEM SETTINGS] → [COLOR SETTINGS] → [MAIN] is set to [SCENE1]/[SCENE2]/[SCENE3]/[SCENE4]/[SCENE5]/[SHADING], the image quality of the video to be recorded can be adjusted in the camera.

  • The image quality adjustment of the video to be recorded is set in [MENU] → [SCENE FILE SETTINGS].

  • [MENU] → [SCENE FILE SETTINGS] cannot be set when [MAIN] is set to [V-Log].

The image quality of the video to be output can be adjusted in the camera when [Grading SEL] is set to [SHADING] in [MENU] → [SYSTEM SETTINGS] → [COLOR SETTINGS] → [MAIN] → [V-Log]. This does not affect the main recording.

  • The image quality adjustment of the video to be output is set in [MENU] → [SYSTEM SETTINGS] → [COLOR SETTINGS].

  • It is necessary to use a measuring device such as vector scope to change the setting.

The content that can be set is as follows.

  • Y: Can be set.

  • N: Cannot be set.

The name of the scene file is displayed thereafter when [SCENE1]/[SCENE2]/[SCENE3]/[SCENE4]/[SCENE5] is selected in [MENU] → [SYSTEM SETTINGS] → [COLOR SETTINGS] → [MAIN].

When [MAIN] is set to [SCENE1] to [SCENE5], only [GAMMA] → [GAMMA SELECT] can be changed.

Following items can be selected in [GAMMA SELECT].

[V-709], [V-406060], [V-452080], [V-452080L], [VIDEO45], [VIDEO50]

When [MAIN] is set to [SHADING], [V-Log], [BC GAMMA], or [HLG] can be selected in [GAMMA] → [GAMMA SELECT].

When [GAMMA] → [GAMMA SELECT] is set to [V-Log] or [HLG], only [GAMMA] → [GAMMA SELECT] can be changed.

This can be set only when [GAMMA] → [GAMMA SELECT] is set to following items.

[VIDEO45], [VIDEO50]

This cannot be set when [MAIN CODEC] is set to [AVC-Intra4K-LT], [AVC-Intra2K-LT], or [AVC-Intra-LT].

This cannot be set when [GAMMA] → [GAMMA SELECT] is set to [V-709].

Only [CHROMA] → [LEVEL] can be set.

When [MAIN] is set to [V-Log], regardless of the [COLOR SETTINGS] setting, the main recording is recorded in V-Log.
