CPS authentication of microP2 memory card has failed. The microP2 memory card whose CPS authentication failed cannot be recorded or played back. Select [AUTHENTICATE] in the main menu → [CLIP], and enter the password. For details, refer to “Manual CPS authentication”.

[BACKUP BATT EMPTY]

None

Displays any reduced voltage detected on the backup battery in the internal clock when the power is turned on.

Follow “Charging the built-in battery” to charge the battery.

[CARD ERROR] (slot number)

Displayed when an data error caused by the P2 card occurs during recording.

Displayed after recording stops until the next operation. Also displayed for three seconds during playback when a P2 card error causes playback to stop.

Replace the P2 card of the slot where the error occurred.

[CLIP DISCONTINUED]

None

Displayed when clips cannot be linked with the subsequent recording operations due to the inconsistency as linked clips during recording in one-clip recording mode.

The directory position is not correct. Make a card backup immediately and use again after formatting.

Displayed when the fan motor stops.

[FRAME SIGNAL]

Displayed when a video or audio error occurs during recording. Turn the power off and on before using it again.

When input signals are disrupted, recording continues while disrupted images are recorded. Check the signal to be input to the camera.

[OVER MAX# CLIPS]

  • Displayed when attempting to record in excess of the maximum total number of clips allowed for one P2 card.

    Replace the P2 card or delete unnecessary clips.

  • It is displayed after approximately 3.5 hours have elapsed from the time when operation to start a single recording is executed when [SHORT SPLIT] is selected in the main menu → [REC/PB] → [REC/PB SETUP] → [FILE SPLIT]. The recording is stopped.

Correct recording is not possible due to disruption of input signals of the <GENLOCK IN> or <SDI IN> terminal, and recording is suspended temporarily. The clip will be divided. Recording will be resumed when the signal returns to normal. However, interval recording, one-shot recording, and loop recording will not be resumed.

  • Displayed when recording under the following conditions.

    • When the recording format is DVCPRO HD and the main menu → [PAINT] → [GAMMA] → [GAMMA MODE SEL] is set to [HLG]

    • When the recording format is DVCPRO HD, the main menu → [SYSTEM MODE] → [REC SIGNAL] is set to [SDI], and the signal input to the <SDI IN> terminal is in high dynamic range (hybrid log gamma)

  • Recording can be performed even if the message is displayed. However, information indicating the high dynamic range is not recorded to clips.

  • Change the recording format or change the gamma mode to a mode other than the hybrid log gamma to remove the message.
