Adjusting with the <SEL/PUSH SET> dial button and <MODE/MENU CANCEL> button

The shutter mode can be switched and adjusted using the <SEL/PUSH SET> dial button and <MODE/MENU CANCEL> button.

Enabling shutter mode

Press the <SEL/PUSH SET> dial button.

[SHUTTER ON] indication appears in the center of the screen. The shutter speed value is indicated and the shutter is enabled.

If you press the dial button again, [SHUTTER OFF] indication appears in the center of the screen and the shutter mode is disabled.

Every press of the dial button switches [SHUTTER ON]/[SHUTTER OFF].

Changing the shutter mode setting

Press the <SEL/PUSH SET> dial button and enable the shutter mode.

[SHUTTER ON] indication appears in the center of the screen.

Press the <MODE/MENU CANCEL> button and select a shutter mode.

Every press of the button switches the modes as follows, and the selected mode is highlighted in orange.

Shutter mode → variable frame rate mode → white balance variable mode

  • Variable frame rate mode can be selected only when [ON] is set in the main menu → [SCENE FILE] → [VFR].

  • White balance variable mode can be selected only when [VAR] is set in the main menu → [SW MODE] → [W.BAL PRESET], and the <WHITE BAL> switch is set to the <PRST> position.

Press the <SEL/PUSH SET> dial button and select shutter mode or synchro shutter mode.

Each time the button is pressed, the normal shutter mode and synchro shutter mode will be toggled.

Turn the <SEL/PUSH SET> dial button upward/downward and change the settings.

In synchro shutter mode, you can change the mode quickly by turning the button while it is pressed.

Press the <MODE/MENU CANCEL> button several times until the highlight of the mode disappears.
