Connecting to the remote operation panel (AK-HRP200G)

You can remotely control some functions by connecting the remote operation panel AK-HRP200G (optional) via an IP connection.
When you connect AK-HRP200G using a LAN cable and perform network settings of the camera and the AK-HRP200G, the camera automatically enters the remote control mode. For the connection settings, refer to “Setting for connection with Remote Operation Panel (AKHRP200G)”.
Turn the <AUTO/MANUAL> switch of the camera to <MANUAL>. Some items may not work in <AUTO> depending on the camera’s automatic adjustment settings. In addition, when you perform zoom operations in AK-HRP200G, set the camera’s <ZOOM> switch in the <SERVO> position.
The remote control mode is canceled by pressing the <HEAD POWER> switch of AK-HRP200G to terminate the connection while the camera and AK-HRP200G are connected, or by removing the network cable and changing the power switch of the camera from <OFF> to <ON>.

NOTE

To perform the manual iris operation on the camera or remotely control the iris using the <CAM REMOTE> terminal during IP connection, enable the operation by pressing the <IRIS> button on the camera. When the manual iris operation is enabled on the camera, the screen’s iris is displayed in black and white inversion. You cannot perform zoom operations using the <CAM REMOTE> terminal.
You can use a straight-through or a crossover LAN cable to directly connect AK-HRP200G to the camera.
When the camera is restarted with the camera and AK-HRP200G connected via IP, the camera power button of AK-HRP200G (<HEAD POWER>) might blink in red then light up in green.
To use the camera as a standalone device, you need to release the remote control mode by pressing the camera power button <HEAD POWER> of AK-HRP200G.
The operation of connecting via IP and remote controlling the camera from multiple devices such as the AK-HRP200G cannot be guaranteed.
Use the camera by matching the synchro scan display settings ([sec] or [deg]) of AK-HRP200G and the camera. Even if the camera’s synchro scan display settings are changed, it will not sync with the AK-HRP200G display.
When the camera is connected to AK-HRP200G via IP, the P2 playlist editing function is not available.
