[SW MODE]
Configure the settings of each mode when switched using each switch.
These menu items cannot be set when the thumbnail screen is displayed.

[LOW GAIN] | Sets the gain value to be assigned to the <L> position of the <GAIN> switch. (Negative value of gain is only in [HIGH SENS.] mode.) [−3dB]…[18dB]

[MID GAIN] | Sets the gain value to be assigned to the <M> position of the <GAIN> switch. (Negative value of gain is only in [HIGH SENS.] mode.) [−3dB]…[18dB]

[HIGH GAIN] | Sets the gain value to be assigned to the <H> position of the <GAIN> switch. (Negative value of gain is only in [HIGH SENS.] mode.) [−3dB]…[18dB]

[SUPER GAIN] | Sets the super gain to be assigned to the USER button. [24dB], [30dB], [36dB] [ALL]: Each time the USER button is pressed, the setting toggles [24dB] → [30dB] → [36dB] → (off) in order.

[OIS] | Enables/disables the image stabilizer function. [ON]: Enables the image stabilizer function. [OFF]: Disables the image stabilizer function.
If functions are assigned to the USER buttons, switches [ON]/[OFF] using the USER button operations. | |
[ATW] | Assigns the auto tracking white balance function to the <WHITE BAL> switch. [Ach], [Bch], [PRE], [OFF]

[ATW SPEED] | Sets the control speed of the auto tracking white balance function. [FAST], [NORMAL], [SLOW]

[ATW TARGET R] | Finely adjusts the Rch output for convergence with auto tracking white balance operation. [−10]…[10]

[ATW TARGET B] | Finely adjusts the Bch output for convergence with auto tracking white balance operation. [−10]…[10]

[W.BAL PRESET] | Sets the color temperature to be assigned to the <PRST> position of the <WHITE BAL> switch. [3200K], [5600K], [VAR]

[W.BAL VAR] | Sets the value of [VAR] in [W.BAL PRESET]. It can also be operated by the <SEL/PUSH SET> dial button. Enabled when [W.BAL PRESET] is set to [VAR] and the <WHITE BAL> switch is at <PRST>. [2000K]…[15000K]

[H.ZOOM SPEED] | Sets the zoom speed when the HANDLE ZOOM switch is <FIX>. [1]…[99]

[PUSH AF MODE] | Assigns the operation mode when the <PUSH AUTO> button is pressed. [TURBO]: Performs high-speed focusing automatically until the image is focused, once the button is pressed. [NORMAL]: Performs automatic focusing while pressing the button.

[MF ASSIST] | Sets whether to adjust the last focus automatically when in the manual focus mode. [ON]: Adjusts the last focus automatically. [OFF]: Does not adjust the focus automatically.
If the image is largely out of focus, the focus may not be adjusted properly. Operations with a remote control connected to the <CAM REMOTE> terminal are not available. | |
[FOCUS ASSIST MODE] | Sets the operation mode of the focus assist function. [EXPAND]: Expands the center part of the screen of the LCD monitor. [IN RED]: Outlines the contour of the video in red.

[MACRO] | Enables/disables the focus macro function. [ON]: Enables the focus macro function. [OFF]: Disables the focus macro function.

[MACRO MODE] | Sets the operation mode when the focus macro function is enabled. [WIDE]: Only the wide macro area is enabled. [ALL]: Tele macro area and wide macro area are enabled.

[A.IRIS SPEED] | Sets the control speed of the auto iris function. [FAST], [NORMAL], [SLOW]

[A.IRIS WINDOW] | Selects the auto iris detection window. [NORM1]: Window that is near screen center. [NORM2]: Window that is near screen bottom. [CENTER]: Window that is a spot in the screen center.

[AREA MODE] | Assigns the function to be performed within the area selected using the control stick during shooting. [INHIBIT]: Does not allocate a function. [FOCUS]: Auto focus/focus bar function [IRIS]: Auto iris function [Y GET]: Brightness display function [FOCUS/IRIS]: Activates [FOCUS] and [IRIS] simultaneously. [FOCUS/Y GET]: Activates [FOCUS] and [Y GET] simultaneously.

[WFM MODE] | Selects the type of waveform to be displayed on the LCD monitor when the <WFM> button is pressed. [WAVE]: Displays as a waveform. [VECTOR]: Displays as a vector. [WAVE/VECTOR]: Each time the <WFM> button is pressed, the display changes in order from (no display) → [WAVE] (waveform) → [VECTOR] (vector) → (no display).

[ZEBRA] | Displays/hides zebra patterns. [ON]: Displays zebra patterns. [OFF]: Does not display zebra patterns.
If functions are assigned to the USER buttons, switches [ON]/[OFF] using the USER button operations. | |
[ZEBRA MODE] | Selects whether to keep displaying zebra patterns. [CONTINUE]: Keep the display of zebra patterns. [MOMENT]: Displays zebra patterns for approximately five seconds.

[BARS TYPE] | Selects the color bar to use. [SMPTE]: Uses the color bar in the SMPTE standard. [FULL BARS]: Uses full color bars. [SPLIT]: Uses SPLIT color bars for SNG (Satellite News Gathering). [ARIB]: Uses ARIB standard color bars.

[FRONT REC] | Sets operation of the REC button on the front of the camera. [INHIBIT]: Does not activate the operation. [ACTIVE]: Activates the operation.

[ZOOM/FOCUS] | Sets where to operate the zoom and focus in an IP remote connection. [IP REMOTE]: Works only when operation is done from the remote connection destination. [CAMERA]: Works only when operation is done from the camera.
